8th Nanning Go Tournament 2012
Sid and I represented Brunei in participating this Go tournament at Nanning, China last week. It was a very memorable trip. And Both of us are being promoted to China 1-dan.

 Basically it was the last day of go club for this semester. Due to the Discovery Year Talk/Workshop, few of the members came late for go club, including myself. For the two hours, they were reviewing one of the professional go player, Honinbo Shusaku's game. (Don't really which game they were reviewing)

Introduction of Go to newbies
I was invited by the president of International Club to give a teaching session at the Core today.  It was very windy there! -..- Anyway, they learned some basics such as atari and competing for territories. They looked like they were having fun too. Hopefully after this session, go will be more widespread, especially to the UBDians.
