My game VS Enru

Two weeks ago, we had this badminton match at an abandon multipurpose hall. It is still in good condition and it is totally free!! There were only 5 of us, me, Hiew Foong, Sid, Chung Sun, Xinwen . (committees of Brunei Darussalam Go Association) It was a tiring match, since i am not as good as them.

After all, we need to keep our body in good health, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

We were invited to Ray's open house today.  It was quite fun, just that the weather was way too hot. =/ The food was quite nice(nasi lemak+ some side dishes). Personally i like the rice. Taste good. And the fresh coconut water, I like it a lot. Since we didn't have a go board and stones with us, we played chess instead. Two were playing chess while the rest of us were 'playing' with Kitty. ( <--she was kinda wild!)  After visiting Ray's house, we went to the mini zoo at Tutong. These are some of the pictures i took just now~

UBD Go Club has paid a visit to JIS Go Club this Wednesday. They manage to get a new room and new teacher-in-charge after a year of inactivity. Surprisingly, it's a combination of both go and chess club! One side playing go and the other side playing chess, so they will be learning both games at the same time. The club went very well on that day. Everyone of us get to play a friendly match with JIS Go members. Before the go session ends, i was told to play 'speed go' with Azim. Quite a good experience for all of us.

Most of the go members showed up during the meet-up. Those members include EnRu, Junior, Hiew Foong, Ray, Yee Jean and Aziz.

About us

UBD Go Club is a new club at Univeristi Brunei Darussalm(UBD) which was established in August, 2012. The main objective is to promote the game "go" within university and to improve members' standards of play of the game.

You may be wondering what is a 'Go'? Go is a board game, which was originated from China. We call it 'wei qi' or baduk, usually seen in movies during a war. To know more about the game, join us now @ UBD GO CLUB or you can "have a look" by joining the club.
